Summer Reading sign-up kicks off June 1st!


Programming begins June 9th with Baffling Bill!


Hey friends! We have tons of fun summer programming lined up, including returning favorites like the Blissfield Fire Department fire truck, Water Wackiness and the Summer Reading Carnival! We will also have some new programs highlight this year's Summer Reading theme Unearth a Story, including fossil and dinosaur themed programs all Summer long. We also have two Playdates in the Park-one at each of our Storywalk locations! Check out the events calendar for a full list of events.

And now, on to the rules of SRP 2026!
 
Here's how it works:
 
Easy Readers: Read 10 books to complete the Reading Challenge and receive 10 tickets to enter prize drawings for gift baskets and grand prizes of your choice. Receive one additional ticket for every book after you complete the Reading Challenge for more chances to win. Finishers get to pick a prize from the Summer Reading treasure chest.
 
Middle/Teen Readers and Adults: Read 2 books to complete the Reading Challenge and receive 10 tickets to enter the prize drawings for a gift basket or grand prize of your choice. Receive an additonal 5 tickets for each book read after completing the Reading Challenge for more chances to win. Finishers of these Reading Challenges will also receive a small prize.
 
Please Note:
Finishers are only eligible to win one grand prize or prize basket each. Winners are ineligible for subsequent prize drawings.
